Changeable

Well, 1,125 notes later, God is still blessing people with this post.

As I go back and read through the sins surrounding, as I recall the story of that night nearly three months back, I remember something that my dear friend Rachel told me: My name does not belong outside of the Cross anymore. 

If you look to the right side of the cross, right above “Bitterness”, you’ll see my name written upside down, in cursive. Schuyler Rees.

But I’m now hidden with Christ. I don’t need to stay outside any longer.

Looking back at my experience on tumblr, I see how beautiful God has been. I see His faithfulness above all else. It’s amazing that He uses broken people like us, isn’t it? But all things in this life have their time. 

I think that my season on tumblr is coming to a close. God is calling me to other things. There’s a major temptation to worry about my friends here, who will care for them? Who will encourage them? Not only that, how will I get by without them?

And at this point, you ought to be asking “How stupid are you?!” We’re all in God’s hands. He’ll take care of you, He’ll take care of me. Furthermore, He’ll lead us into far greater things than even we can imagine.

I’ve got a lot of peace about this. I’m just going to tidy up, answer all the questions, and then go.

And so, finally, you who I love most truly, may the God who raised our Savior, Christ Jesus, guard and protect you. May you be richly blessed by the Word, ministered to by the Spirit, finding comfort in Him. May Christ lead your life, in every moment, in every breath. 

Above all, I hope that you live your lives in and for His Light. I hope that you revel in it, dancing beneath the glory of a Heavenly Hope. Do not grow faint, but be fearless in Faith. He will carry you through.

As Christ has loved me, so I love you.
