Some days…
I look in the mirror, and I can’t believe that God made a body like this. The arch of my neck, the shape of my hands, the angle of my mouth, the bronze highlights in my hair, the sea-mist blue of my eyes.
But most days I look into the mirror and feel shame. Shame for what I am. Shame for what I’ve been. Shame for what I’ve made myself. Shame that I’m not like the others.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
II Cor. 12:9

That’s the awesome thing about His forgiveness! We don’t have to be who we were - we can be who we are in Him! The enemy wants you to feel that shame but you’ve repented. Live in that repentance & forgiveness. Live in that love!
